Yes! While therapy is limited to residents of New York due to licensing laws, I also offer coaching services that are available to people across the U.S. and internationally. Coaching focuses on personal growth, career development, and life transitions, and can be a great alternative if you're outside New York and looking for support.
A standard individual therapy session is 50 minutes long. If you’re participating in group therapy, those sessions are 90 minutes long.
The free 15-minute consultation is an opportunity for us to connect and see if working together feels right. You can share a bit about what’s bringing you to therapy or coaching, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work. If it feels like a good fit, we will schedule our initial consultation.

Great question! Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Therapists (like me!) provide talk therapy and support for emotional and relational challenges. Therapists can be licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), mental health counselors (LMHCs), marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), or psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs).
- Psychologists often have a PhD or PsyD and may provide therapy, conduct psychological testing, and do research.
- Psychiatrists are medical doctors (MDs) who specialize in diagnosing mental health conditions and prescribing medication. Some also provide therapy, but most focus on medication management.
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), which means I provide therapy and can prescribe medication if needed. However, I see medication as just one tool—not the whole answer—to emotional growth.
- Individual therapy: $125 per session
- Group therapy: $95 per session
- Coaching: Pricing varies based on the number of sessions set up in advance. Contact me for details.
I work with insurance plans that offer out-of-network benefits. This means that while I am not directly contracted with insurance companies, I will submit your claims for you so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork.
Once you’ve met your out-of-network deductible, your insurance company will pay me directly, and your out-of-pocket cost will be reduced.
If you’re unsure about your benefits, I’m happy to help you figure out how this works!
